SICK DAYS - In last week’s Law.com Litigation Trendspotter column, we noted that litigators are anticipating the pandemic to have a lingering impact on the types of cases they’re handling well into 2021 and likely even beyond. One area in which COVID-19 continues to infect just about everything is employment litigation, with novel issues arising from the virus itself, as well as from the unique circumstances caused by the pandemic, such as the rise of remote work and the sudden, negative financial impact on many businesses.
