Philadelphia’s court system is suspending jury trials due to the skyrocketing number of coronavirus cases popping up in the city, the third time it has suspended or delayed jury trials since the onset of COVID-19.
This move comes as city government has announced tighter restrictions on public and private gatherings in what some have called the worst phase of the pandemic since the initial outbreak.
