Counsel for the House of Representatives on Wednesday urged a federal appeals court to quickly decide the validity of revised subpoenas from two Democratic committees probing President Donald Trump’s potential ties to foreign entities.
Attorneys for the lawmakers said their document demands had been narrowed in response to a Supreme Court ruling that blocked Trump’s accounting firm and banks from producing documents in the ongoing investigation.
