A federal judge has dismissed and moved out of Pennsylvania all but three of 86 lawsuits that Allstate Insurance Co. has filed against appliance-maker Electrolux over clothes dryer fires that ignited across 21 states.

U.S. District Judge Joseph F. Leeson Jr. of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania granted Electrolux’s motions to sever all 86 claims. Leeson dismissed 64 of the claims for lack of subject matter jurisdiction, removed 19 for lack of relevance to the Eastern District and sent them to the appropriate district courts, and kept three.
