The City is set to lose up to 12,000 jobs in the wake of Brexit and UK law firms will “absolutely” feel the effects, the City of London Corporation’s policy chair, Catherine McGuinness, has told Legal Week.

Speaking after giving evidence at a parliamentary committee evidence session on Brexit earlier this week (24 July), McGuinness warned of the dangers to law firms of a ‘no-deal’ Brexit.
