A former vice president of Cox Communications was sentenced Wednesday to 25 months in prison for defrauding the Atlanta-based media company of more than $2 million, the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia announced.

U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg sentenced former Cox Vice President Janet West, 49, of Paradise Valley, Arizona, following West’s guilty plea in November to a single count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. West was also ordered to forfeit her interest in two properties and pay restitution to Cox.
