Kickstarter is a company all about allowing users to reach big funding goals for business ideas and creative projects. The company’s legal function recently reached a goal of its own—finding a brand new general counsel.

Christopher Mitchell has stepped into the top legal role at Kickstarter. The Brooklyn, New York-based crowdfunding company confirmed Mitchell stepped into the role on April 15.
