Probate Judge Charles M. Greene granted an order for an emergency petition to stop the Broward Public Defender’s Office from interfering in a civil case involving accused Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz.

The Public Defender’s Office is representing Cruz, who faces 17 counts of premeditated murder for the Valentine’s Day shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
