Eye products giant Bausch & Lomb Corp. on Wednesday announced the immediate departure of general counsel Christina Ackermann and said she will be replaced Bob Bailey, who spent 18 years at the company before departing for other opportunities in 2013.

“This change was approved” on Monday, according to a new Bausch + Lomb filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Ackermann is departing Wednesday but will remain an employee until the end of the month.
