Q. What is My Law.com?
A. My Law.com is a customization feature available to Law.com users that enables you to personalize your newsfeed and receive a custom Daily Digest email with news headlines that are relevant to your business interests. My Law.com is fully integrated with Law.com Radar and presented in a two-tab interface for ease of use.
Q. What will I find under the My Law.com and My Radar tabs? How are they different?
A. My Law.com is your source for legal news, industry analysis and trend reporting from ALM’s award-winning global newsroom. Law.com Radar delivers near real-time updates on new suits, corporate deals, and emerging litigation trends. By bringing these tools together, My Law.com makes it easier than ever to stay on top of developments related to the practice areas, regions, law firms and companies that you choose to follow.
Q. How do I set up an account on My Law.com?
A. If you have not set up an account with Law.com, go to www.law.com/mylaw/ to set up your account. If you already have login information for Law.com, click on My Law.com at the top of your screen to begin personalizing your account.
Q. Can I use My Law.com if I am not a Law.com paid subscriber?
A. Yes, you can create a My Law.com account and select topics to follow if you are not a Law.com paid subscriber. You will receive your Daily Digest newsletter and customized newsfeed, featuring headlines on the topics, regions, law firms and companies you have chosen to follow. Because you are not a paid Law.com subscriber, you will not be able to access the full articles on the Law.com site.
Q. How do I set or change my preferences on My Law.com?
A. Update your preferences by selecting the gear icon to open the full list of available topics to follow on My Law.com. Browse and click to follow new topics or to unfollow those that no longer interest you. Your preferences on My Law.com and Law.com Radar will automatically sync.
Q. Why are some topics grayed out or empty on My Radar?
A. Certain topics are only available to paid Radar subscribers and will appear grayed out if you do not have the required subscription. Additionally, a few topics are exclusive to Law.com and are not available through Law.com Radar. If that is the case, you will not find related content for that topic under My Radar.
Q. When I navigate to the My Law.com or My Radar view, I noticed that some topics are listed that I did not choose to follow. Why is this happening?
A. Readers are able to filter their newsfeed by selecting a single topic. Due to the mapping of topics between Law.com and Law.com Radar, a few closely related categories have been linked. Selecting one will result in both topics being added to your newsfeed.
Q. When I try to log in, I receive a message that says I need to contact my firm’s administrator for my credentials. Who is my firm’s administrator?
A. This means that your Law.com membership is part of a larger firm membership. Contact your firm administrator, usually your firm librarian or knowledge manager, to request your login credentials.

Q. What if I want to read something but I am not a subscriber?
A. If you already have a sign in with a username and password, then you are a part of the ALM Digital Membership program. Still not sure? Go to any of our websites and sign in. You will be prompted to register for a free Digital Membership if you have not signed up yet.
Q. What is an ALM Digital Membership?
A. An ALM Digital Membership provides you access to 1 free article every 30 days* from any of the sites across the entire suite of ALM publications. Even if you subscribe to one publication, you can still read articles from other sister legal publications. *Some premium content may be excluded.
Q. What if I still cannot access an article?

Q. What are Law Topics?
A. Law Topics provides you with an easy way to access content that is most relevant to you and your interests. Law Topics includes topic areas, areas of law and industries. You now have the ability to track and Follow topics across all ALM legal publications by setting up a customized alert that will deliver email alerts to your inbox at the frequency you select, either daily or weekly.
Q. What happens when I click on Follow at the top of a page?
A. Click on Follow to set up a customized alert that matches the type of content found in the article.
Q. What is a customized alert?
A. A customized alert is your personalized alert generated from a keyword search or topic of your choosing. When creating an alert, you will have the option to specify the frequency – daily or weekly – as well as the day and time you would like to see it in your inbox. Need to pause or discontinue an alert? Easily manage your alerts from your My Account page.
Q. What is the Law Firms section?
A. Law Firm pages provide a comprehensive look at firms that are a part of the AmLaw 200, NLJ 500, and Global 100. Information in these profiles includes a firm overview, snapshot of the firm’s rankings history and key stats from ALM Intelligence, as well as related news articles, whitepapers and jobs from Lawjobs.com.

Q. What is included in a subscription to Law.com?
A. A Law.com subscription includes premium access to all of our U.S. legal publications, including The American Lawyer, New York Law Journal and many more. It also includes address to surveys and rankings including the Am Law 100/200 and NLJ500, premium Law.com Radar access, your choice of e-newsletters, editorial features such as Litigation Trendspotter and Legal Education coverage, and resources including Legal Dictionary, law firm profiles, and Lawjobs.com.
Q. I already subscribe to one of your publications but I couldn’t access an article. What do I do?
A. First, make sure you are signed in to the website. If you are, then you may be trying to access premium content from another publication, or have exceeded your Digital Membership article limit. Q. How can I subscribe to both Law.com and Law.com International?
A. Individual (single sign-on) subscriptions are available for purchase on the website. ALM provides several legal product offerings including VerdictSearch, CLE, and Law Journal Press. Q. What are my payment options?
A. You can pay for your subscription online by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). We DO NOT accept Diners card. Q. How much does a Corporate Subscription cost?
A. There isn’t a set price for a Corporate Subscription as we take many things into consideration – generally the number of users and how many different products you need to access. If you have multiple users that require access, then a Corporate Subscription is definitely the most cost-effective approach for you. Q. Can a Corporate Subscription span multiple offices?
A. Yes it can – there’s no limit to how many of your offices can be incorporated into an agreement. All we’ll need to know are which offices you want to include, and who the users are within them.
Q. Can we set up access for our employees when they are out of the office?
A. Yes you can. For each of the users who are part of the agreement we will give them an individual log-in that they can use to access the site wherever they are and whatever device they are using. In addition this log-in allows them to set their own news alert preferences.
Q. What is your policy on cancellations and refunds?
A. If you no longer wish to continue with a subscription, you can transfer your payment to a more relevant product or transfer your subscription to a colleague at any point during the year.
