In 2013 telecoms operator du’s 10-lawyer legal team, led by general counsel Anneliese Reinhold, reviewed its mission statement and drew up a new strategy based on Harvard Business School’s balanced scorecard methodology. The resultant strategic initiatives were each project managed by a member of the legal team.
