Biggart Baillie has taken an advisory role after Rangers Football Club went into administration yesterday (14 February). The Scottish law firm has been appointed to advise the administrators, Duff & Phelps, following a petition for administration presented to the Court of Session in Edinburgh by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), which is owed around £9m in taxes following the club's May takeover by businessman Craig Whyte.
