Eversheds has appointed a new head of tax in London, with partner Clive Jones set to take up the role on 1 May. The appointment will see Jones replace Sue Taylor in the role when she retires at the end of the financial year. Jones, who specialises in direct and indirect tax and has particular expertise advising on the tax aspects of real estate and finance transactions, joined Eversheds as a partner in February 2008, having previously spent 12 years at Clifford Chance.
