Hammonds' national head of private equity, Jonathan Jones, has been appointed to head the firm's Leeds office. Jones, who takes on the role with immediate effect, stood in an uncontested election to replace Simon Miller. He will continue to lead the national private equity group, a role he has held since 2003, until a replacement is found.Miller stepped down from the post after being selected to replace Lucci Dammone leading the firm's commercial and dispute resolution practice.
