Senior lawyers have backed Hammonds’ recent appointment of a non-executive chairman, but are sceptical that such a figurehead will help in winning clients, according to the latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question survey.
The survey of more than 100 partners shows a little more than three-quarters (76%) of respondents support the national firm’s decision to appoint former consultant Crawford Gillies earlier this month.
