Today is classed by some as ‘Blue Monday’ as workers struggle to summon the energy to get back into the swing of work in the dark and the cold. But there’s a different type of ‘return to work’ that many women experience and that is commanding attention: the return after maternity leave, or aptly put: ‘returnity’.

Despite law firms’ progress in implementing and improving maternity leave policies, many women in the industry say there’s still a way to go to help returning new mothers, particularly around the three-month mark.
