Could it be that much of the legal profession in the UK is dragging its heels in exploring what potentially could be a valuable source of business development opportunities for them – alumni networks?

A recent Thomson Elite survey showed that only 15% of the top 100 UK law firms mention their alumni networks on their websites. The majority of those that do are in the top 10 by turnover so it seems that law firms outside this elite group are failing to make the most of the business referral potential of their alumni.
