UK lawyers are broadly in favour of Government plans to allow judges to return to private practice, but warn that some conditions should be imposed, according to the latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question survey.
The survey shows that three-quarters (73%) of leading lawyers agree with Lord Chancellor, Lord Falconer’s plans to lift the ban preventing judges from returning to private practice.
