Crescendo has updated its full range of digital dictation and speech recognition products for compatibility with Citrix servers to enable secure and efficient system administration. When Crescendo software is run in a Citrix environment, users can open applications from their computer at the office or through a web browser when working remotely.
Dictation files are streamed directly to the server, where they can be converted to text by speech recognition software (based on Philips Speech-Magic) or accessed by support staff for transcription. IT administrators are able to manage the system from the central server, since application files are not stored on individual machines.
