Halliwells has continued its expansion drive with the hire of the head of construction from local rival Rowe Cohen. David Vayro joins the top 50 UK firm’s Manchester base this month as a partner, where he will work closely with construction head Karen Spencer. Vayro specialises in contentious and non-contentious construction work for property developers, contractors and consultancies.
The latest hire follows the appointment in October to Halliwell’s Manchester office of a four-lawyer specialist pensions team from national rival Pinsent Masons.
