Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is to vote on ditching its dual senior partner model following this week’s surprise announcement that veteran UK head Anthony Salz is retiring.

The vote, which will be run by the firm’s 15-member partnership council, will expressly consider the future role of the dual-management structure that currently sees Salz act as joint senior partner alongside Germany’s Konstantin Mettenheimer.
