Two tax partners have quit Herbert Smith’s German ally Gleiss Lutz with a team of associates to launch their own boutique.

Veteran Wolfgang Blumers, who was with the firm for 30 years, left along with corporate and insolvency junior partner Roderich Fischer and tax associates Diethard Goerg and Ulrich-Peter Kinzl, to set-up the Stuttgart-based boutique Blumers & Partner, last month.
