Dechert has hired a securities veteran from West Coast firm Latham & Watkins to build its New York arm. Geoffrey Hurley practises structured finance and has advised on mortgage-backed securities offerings and financial assets.
Before joining Lathams, Hurley has also been a partner at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy and was a co-founder of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom’s structured finance practice.
