Simmons & Simmons has posted a 20% drop in partner profits for the financial year citing the impact of continued European expansion and the lack of corporate activity on the top 15 London firm’s earnings.

Average partner profits for 2002-03 fell from £375,000 to around £300,000, with overall firm-wide profits falling 13% from £50m to £43.5m.
