CC boosts NY with Merrills lawyer

Clifford Chance has hired senior Merrill Lynch lawyer and executive management committee member George Schieren to further bolster its US securities litigation practice. The move sees Schieren join the firm’s litigation practice under the lead of former US managing partner Jim Benedict. He had been with the investment banking giant since 1981.
