Chicago-based giant Sidley Austin Brown & Wood has lost an appeal to prevent a US government agency from gaining key documents relating to its controversial demotion of 32 equity partners.
The 24 October ruling by the Chicago-based Seventh Circuit Appeals Court found that 259-equity partner Sidleys must hand over internal documents demanded by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
