Amanda Allen, fresh at Hammond Suddards Edge from Pinsent Curtis Biddle, sounds as if she might be leaving the law to do marketing for the South African wineries.

She has just completed her first deal for new client Western Wine, the owners of supermarket brand Kumala, and when contacted by The Diary she seemed pretty enthusiastic about it.
“Kumala is trying to do for South Africa what Hardys did for Australia,” she says.
