Linklaters’ Madrid office has secured a rare senior partner hire from Spanish giant Garrigues in order to launch a new local law practice group for the London giant.
The high-profile Garrigues partner Miguel Riano started on Monday (23 September) as the magic circle firm’s eighth partner in Spain. Riano specialises in administrative and environmental law and will join the rapidly expanding office to start up a new Spanish utilities and public sector practice.
