Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has won a new property client, Brack Capital, by advising the company on the biggest take-private deal this year and the largest ever overseas real estate transaction by an Israeli company.

The magic circle firm became involved in the deal, worth E1.46bn (£903m), through an Israeli connection in the Netherlands, a former client of Freshfields corporate partner Steven Perrick. Perrick, who is leading the deal, was introduced by the client to Brack Capital chairman Shimon Weintraub.
