Baker McKenzie has further strengthened its corporate M&A and private equity capabilities in Germany with the addition of Johannes Baumann as a partner in Frankfurt.
Baumann joins from Hengeler Mueller, where he was most recently a counsel. He is the third lawyer to depart for Baker McKenzie in the past two years after the firm brought on Jakub Lorys as a corporate partner in Munich in September 2021 and Patrick Wilkening as an IP/IT partner in Düsseldorf the following year. Both had been counsel at Hengeler before joining Baker McKenzie.
