Stephenson Harwood’s Greater China associated firm, Wei Tu Law Firm, has strengthened its regional private wealth and corporate practice with the hire of partner Joanna Jiang, who was most recently a partner at Beijing-based Zhong Lun Law Firm, in Guangzhou.

Jiang, who started her legal career as an associate at Zhong Lun in 2012 before being made partner in 2019, specializes in advising on private wealth, M&A and private equity investments as well as providing Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) advice. As a specialist in the private wealth space, Jiang has years of experience advising on cross-border structures, trust and estate planning and business succession planning.
