International law firms Eversheds Sutherland and DLA Piper have advised on e-commerce retailer THG’s acquisition of free London-based business newspaper City AM. 

THG, which defines itself as a “global e-commerce technology group and brand owner” and counts web stores such as Cult Beauty, LookFantastic, and Dermstore under its umbrella has acquired the struggling freesheet in a deal described by City A.M. co-founder Lawson Muncaster as a “perfect fit”.
