Linklaters and Allen & Overy have increased their pay packets for their newly qualified lawyers from £107,500 to £125,000, according to a people with knowledge of the firms.

A person at A&O said the firm would increase its offering to £125,000, after a person with knowledge of Linklaters confirmed that the firm would also be making the uplift.
