September marked the halfway point of the U.K.’s 4-day workweek pilot, in which 70 companies across the country and across industries have been experimenting with the new model, to assess whether it results in a happier, more productive workforce.

4 Day Week Global, the non-profit spearheading the trial, released findings on the programme, revealing that 88% said it was working “well” for business so far, while 86% said they were “likely” or “extremely likely” to consider keeping a 4-day week after the trial ends.
