The largest law firms in the U.K. are making a concerted effort to recruit more Black lawyers, according to a Law.com International analysis of their latest trainee intakes.

The proportion of Black trainees in the most recent cohorts of the U.K top 10 stands at 6.1%, outstripping the current U.K. national proportion of Black people which stands at 4.1%, according to the latest Office for National Statistics figures.
