The pay war for newly qualified lawyers is unsustainable and the salary growth will end within a few years, according to a survey of senior law firm partners in the U.K.

The vast majority—95%—of respondents to a Law.com International survey said they did not believe the continued annual growth of NQ salaries could continue. Two-thirds of the 67 respondents also said they expected the bubble to burst within two years. A further 20% said they expected it to burst in two to three years.
