Australian law firm Thomson Geer is giving its lawyers a 10% pay raise to meet quickly rising prices and wages, which it warns are eroding profit margins.
Thomson Geer is the second local firm to offer a 10% pay increase in less than a week, and firm chief executive partner Adrian Tembel said while it is great news on the surface, it is the result of rising cost pressures.
