For anyone who made it into London again this week one thing was abundantly clear – it is busy again.
Public transport, restaurants, bars and sandwich shops are all feeling it. Then again, law firm offices are still not as full as some partners would like – firms are trying all kinds of things to coax back hesitant workers to the City. Sweet treats, lunch vouchers and similar things are being rolled out. One large firm recently hosted a large firmwide ‘Welcome Back’ evening reception but was disappointed to see hardly anyone in the office the next morning.
