Belonging to a very small and exclusive group of office managing partners and regional heads, four Dubai-based women enjoy special status at the vanguard of progress in a part of the world which has often been beset by the opposite. Their work and leadership fronts a change in a location often perceived as resistant to it.
Although Arab or Middle Eastern women have yet to attain such exalted positions, there are signs that the region is changing for the better, and proving a springboard for their number and more and more Arab women train with international law firms and make partner.
