A number of large law firms are publicly speaking out in support of the Asian American community after the killing of eight people in the greater Atlanta area this week. Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, Davis Wright Tremaine, Morrison & Foerster, Latham & Watkins, Jenner & Block, Squire Patton Boggs, Crowell & Moring, Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie and Davis & Gilbert are among them.

Less than a year after the death of George Floyd and several other Black Americans by police fueled renewed calls for change in how law enforcement treats people of color, another tragic event has sparked increased conversations about race.
