The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) spent nearly half a million pounds on its failed prosecution of former Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer partner Ryan Beckwith, according to data released by the regulator to International. 

In total, the SRA accrued costs of £411,157.08 on proceedings against Beckwith, following its formal decision to prosecute in April 2019.
