Elizabeth Rimmer is the CEO of U.K. mental health charity LawCare, which is launching a questionnaire for legal professionals to find out the impact of workplace culture and working practices on their wellbeing. Here, she discusses the need to first acknowledge what it is about the legal workplace culture that encourages poor mental health, so that the industry may improve.

My school motto was ‘actions speak louder than words’, and even though I seem to recall regularly being ticked off for talking in lessons and this being a recurring theme on my end of year reports, the motto has stayed with me.
