A prospective parliamentary Labour party candidate has called in Mishcon De Reya after the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) refused to endorse her candidacy.

Sally Gimson was selected as the prospective parliamentary candidate (PPC) by the local constituency Labour party for Bassetlaw in October. She instructed Mishcon after the Labour NEC wrote to her to say she had broken party rules and it would not endorse her as a candidate.
