Leading construction lawyer and Macfarlanes partner Ann Minogue was the recipient of the City of London Law Society (CLLS) Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of a 35-year career which has seen her build up a formidable reputation.

Carving out her career at a time when there were very few women in the property and construction industries, Minogue trained as a solicitor at McKenna & Co, becoming a partner there in 1985. She joined Linklaters as a partner in 2001 and moved to Ashurst in 2009, where she headed up the team responsible for construction work for Stanhope plc, British Land Developments and Heron International. She joined Macfarlanes in 2013.
