Why did you become a lawyer? I’m still not entirely sure. I went on a summer vacation scheme at Linklaters and never escaped.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career? Robert Elliott (now Linklaters’ senior partner). He took me into the firm’s banking group as a four-year qualified tax lawyer looking for a change and I haven’t looked back.
