Mills & Reeve has appointed three solicitors in a boost for its national insurance group. James Melvin and David Roche join the London office from Davies Lavery, while Kate Ayres has moved from Berrymans Lace Mawer. Elsewhere, Philip Lumb joins the 78-partner firm's Norwich arm from City firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain. He will now work as part of Mills & Reeve's 14-lawyer professional negligence team.
