The wealth of high net worth individuals faces threats from many quarters, including economic downturns, government actions or disputes within a family.
The stark reality that sustaining wealth is almost as difficult as creating it, was highlighted by Debra Treyz, head of private client for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at JPMorgan Private Bank, the main sponsors of Legal Week‘s Private Client Legal Forum, which was held at the Villa d’Este, on the banks of Lake Como in Italy, from 10-12 November.
