Jenkens New York arm splits off to US rival

The 90-lawyer arm of Jenkens & Gilchrist is to split from the embattled Texas giant to launch a Manhattan arm for Atlanta’s Troutman Sanders.

The deal sees the entire office, acquired through the 2001 merger with New York firm Parker Chapin & Flattau, move over to 600-lawyer Troutman on 1 April.
