Weil Gotshal & Manges’ London arm has won a second major deal for KVault Software (KVS) on the sale of the e-mail storage software company to US Silicon Valley giant Veritas Software for £125m.

Veritas is buying out KVS’ shareholders, which include Lehman Brothers and affluent individuals such as Lord Samuel George Vestey. Veritas will operate KVS as a separate entity under the leadership of the current management team.
