On March 29, 2022, the United States Senate passed Resolution 561 which aims to educate the general public about the prevalence of asbestos-related diseases and the risks of asbestos exposure. To this day, it remains heavily monitored by US regulators and many corporations face a difficult road ahead in dealing with various complex asbestos issues.

Tim Krippner concentrates his practice in the areas of catastrophic loss and long-tail liability. He has developed and executed dozens of short- to long-term strategies for complex liability management for Fortune 100 companies and other major manufacturing and private equity concerns.

His current responsibilities include retention as trial, local, regional and, primarily, national coordinating counsel. Tim is frequently entrusted as lead trial counsel in catastrophic loss matters and coordinates resolution strategies at all levels of liability.

Tim has substantial experience consulting in merger and acquisition analysis regarding long-tail liability risk and appropriate avoidance strategies.

For nearly a decade, Justinian C. Lane has asserted the rights of people harmed by asbestos exposure. He has secured millions for his clients. And the work is personal: Mr. Lane’s grandfather piloted naval landing craft in WWII, where he was repeatedly exposed to asbestos aboard military ships. Grandad later got a job as a mechanic, where he worked with asbestos-containing brakes, clutches, gaskets, and auto-body parts. Justinian’s grandmother, meanwhile, washed asbestos dust from her husband’s clothes, and she was also exposed in her soldering job at an electrical plant. Justinian’s own father worked in a titanium foundry throughout the 1950s, a place likely filled with asbestos. All three died of cancers that are often caused by asbestos exposure.
